Kate currently works across 4 independent practices across the South West providing orthodontic and aesthetic dental treatment. Kate undertook her BDS at Peninsula Medical and Dental School following on from a BSc in Physiotherapy at the University of East London. Kate has taken many post-graduate training courses and qualifications including the MJDJ and a Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy as well as advanced courses in Invisalign, FastBraces and tooth whitening. Kate is a Diamond I provider of Invisalign and a finalist for Best Young Dentist 2021.
Kate has a particular interest in smile design dentistry – enhancing people’s smiles and self confidence by lightening teeth and improving the aesthetics of front teeth. This can be provided by teeth straightening (Invisalign, Fastbraces, Six month smiles, Inman Aligner) tooth whitening, composite or ceramic restorations (veneers, crowns and bridges) as well as facial aesthetics (botox and dermal fillers). Kate fully embraces digital dentistry and the most modern techniques which is the Widcombe Way, and uses an Itero intra-oral scanner in each practice she works at.
Outside of her dental work Kate works hard as an athlete and runs a small string of event horses, competing internationally at 4* level three day eventing. A love of skiing in the winter and off-shore sailing on a friends boat in the summer complete Kate’s busy lifestyle when she isn’t spending time with family and friends.
